Bunk beds have been on my wish list since we began this RV lifestyle. However, the other half of this dynamic duo was not sold on the need for bunks and moved this item to the bottom of our “must-haves” list. We have three boys, who are growing like weeds. So one of Keith’s main issues with many of the bunks that we looked at was that they were barely large enough to accommodate my 5’9” frame. Therefore, if we planned to keep an RV until the wheels fell off the bunk size would need to take into account some pretty tall boys. We are of course assuming that our boys will be at least 6 feet tall.
Needless to say when Newmar offered us the opportunity to checkout their all-new 2017 Ventana 4310 with bunks, I was all in! I knew that the boys would love having bunk beds. However, I completely overlooked the fact that I had more kids than bunks. In the end, our boys quickly resolved the sleeping arrangements and are totally loving it.

• Ample floor space for a third child to sleep or to simply use a playroom area

I love that the boys now have their own dedicated sleeping areas. No more pulling out the jackknife couch and hideaway bed. Long gone are the days of folding up blankets and storing them on top of my bed during the day. BONUS… When the kids go to bed we are able to close the pocket doors off, watch a movie and peacefully enjoy a bowl of ice cream. It is life changing to be able to enjoy the living room or even go outside and enjoy a campfire once the kids are in bed. It will be very difficult to go back to our bunk less motorhome. We will have to make the best of this opportunity while we can.
