Lazydays RV Resort
If you’re RV crazy like us, you watch every possible RV show that comes on TV. And if you’ve watch the Travel channel’s hit RV show, Big Time RV you have already gotten a look at this month’s campground of the month – Lazydays RV Resort. Lazydays is located in Seffner, FL, which is the Tampa area.
We spent time at Lazydays in January and attended a FtF rally there this past February.
Campground facts:
- 300 FHU 50 amp sites
- Heated covered pool with large patio area with plenty of chairs, there are a number of couches for lounging.
- Tennis courts
- Kids playground
- Onsite restaurant – Exit 10
- Rally center
- Lazydays RV sales and service is next store
- Sales center has complete parts and supply store
- Cafeteria – severing breakfast and lunch
Site Info
Costs – between $39 (off peak) up to $60 plus during special events like Tampa RV show
Site size – based on your length. We got site 266 both times we stayed there. It was at the end of the cul-de-sac. We had plenty of width and equate length for our 43ft Rig. We still had enough space to park our Suburban in front of our site. Loved this site and will definitely ask for that site every time we go back.
Discounts – only military (10%) or if you purchased your RV from Lazyday
Perks – You get a 2 breakfast and lunch vouchers with each site per each day of your stay. The breakfast is okay but the lunch special typically very good.
Here’s what ,”They can do better”– A couple of things that could be better is if you choose to drive to the cafeteria area you have to go through the construction and outside of the resort area. It would be nice to be able to pass through where the shuttle goes.
“Soulful RV Family insider Tip”
Right now there is a lot of road construction at the exit for Lazydays. When exiting the highway be prepared for longer wait times. Also, there are two truck stops right at the exit, a Pilot J and TA. Great for all your refueling and travel supply needs.

Final Thoughts on Lazydays
Lazydays is a large full service RV resort with sales and service center located on site. The campground is good size, but it still retains that small town feel. Sites are a little tight which makes it easy to get to know your neighbors. The campground has plenty of activities to keep you and the kids busy. Close to many of Tampa’s best attractions. Great location if you’re looking for a warm spot to host a rally. We will definitely stay there again.
